There is a huge pumpkin patch in Morgan Hill called Uesugi Farms, so we decided to trek up there to grab some pumpkins and of course ride the trains. The kiddos are a little obsessed with trains, and they have 2 small trains, the cow train and a mini replica of larger engines.
We ended up doing the carousel, trains, and a couple different hay rides, and the kids corn maze. I think the favorites were the trains and the carousel. The kids also got to pick out a pumpkin each, as well as a couple smaller pumpkins to paint. The weather was much warmer up there than in Monterey which was nice, not having to bundle up all the time is convenient.
The farm also has pumpkin chucking and a corn maze for adults, but we didn’t take part since we were there for the kiddos. While the pumping patch wasn’t a true patch (I took Big A to one when she was a baby that had all the vines still in the field, and it was the actual field where the pumpkins were grown), the kids still had fun picking out the pumpkin that was the perfect shape.
Here are some pics from the day!
