2 Weeks, 6 Stops, 2 National Parks, and 3200 miles

We just arrived home from our epic road trip, and while most everyone knew about it I didn’t want to post anything on here for security reasons.

We decided to go in March/April and had been nailing down places and what to do since then. Then things got hectic after our trip to Yosemite. I started grad school and needed to start buckling down on studying for the IBCLC exam. On top of all this getting things done for the trip before we had to leave (which included getting ahead on school stuff so I wouldn’t have to worry about it while we were gone).

But now we’re back, and it’s time to blog about the trip. I’m going to break the posts up, doing a post for each place we stayed since we ended up doing a lot of things some days and then not to much other days.

The trip wasn’t easy a lot of the time, but it was definitely fun and a good precursor to the trip the kids and I are going to take in the fall to see some friends back in Florida. It was nice to see that we could do this, the kids could do this and we could all come out in one piece in the end.
